I am not an astrology buff, but I have a healthy respect for the way gravity and planets effect everything. I have tried to gain a bit of proficiency in astro-talk, but have never quite succeeded in wrapping my head around the language and the symbols. Despite not being able to wrap my head around it, in the last few weeks, I have more than succeeded in banging my head against it. There have been all sorts of electronic mishaps in my world lately- with the majority of them occurring for me when I am working on my computer. I have lost data, had communications not arrive where I have sent them, and been unable to retrieve communications that have been sent to me. A few days ago, I lamented to a close friend that I seemed to be caught in an electronic Armageddon. She replied matter of factly, ”You do know Mercury is in retrograde, right?’ Huh? Not only did I not know Mercury was in retrograde, I also did not know what ‘Mercury in Retrograde’ meant. When I looked it up, I had to laugh because the information read like a page out of my diary this week. I am still not a die-hard astrology buff, but I have to admit, this whole ‘Mercury Retrograde’ thing has my attention.
