What if a lighthouse only desired a lifestyle by the sea? No Beacon, no guidance- just a big structure hanging out in the water… This would create a scenario where a structure whose purpose is to bring safety and guidance to ships at sea, would suddenly be nothing more than a hazard to the very things it once protected. We can apply this same analogy to our own lives. If we desire a lifestyle but have no purpose, we become hazardous. Like the lighthouse- we must find our inner light and find a purposeful direction to shine it in.
