I think every parent can relate to this quote because we know that at best, our task is a dance of trial and error. In parenting, when we succeed in one place, we almost always fail in another. And there are few of us who ever really know early in the journey- what part of that which we give… is ever received.
The mother in the video that follows has certainly been given the gift of knowing what her son has received….and somewhere and in someway- I have to believe his daddy knows too.

Such a sweet little boy and so aware. As a mother I wonder how I can teach my children that giving is more important than receiving.
