Winter

Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark.”
Rabindranath Tagore

The winter solstice marks the first official day of winter and for those who live in the Northern Hemisphere it marks the longest night and the shortest day of the year.  Winter is a dark time,  rich with both struggle and growth. It’s a time of hibernation…. a time to take ourselves inward to incubate the hopes and dreams that we are not yet able to manifest in our lives.

The darkness that winter offers is quiet and deep… try not to resist its wisdom, it always leads us forward to the new light of spring.
