Tender

“Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender; it’s holy ground. There’s no greater investment.” ~Stephen Covey

I love this quote’s message, and it is such a powerful reminder of how tenuous and fragile the path of growth is. We all go through cycles of growth, and there is irony to the fact that while we are at the height of our growth on the inner planes, we are at the height of our vulnerability on the outer planes. Like newborns emerging into a vast new world, we are naked and undefended in those early moments that herald a new way of being. In this respect, we are all born and reborn many times in our lives… when these rebirth periods arrive we are fragile and its not an easy time.

‘Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender; it’s holy ground. There’s no greater investment.’
