Today’s graphic is a real life moment that I just happened to capture on my cell phone camera a few years back when we were in San Francisco at sunset. It is one of my all time favorite pictures, not because it is a photo of my husband holding our young son up in the air, but instead because of what it symbolizes to me. The best fathers don’t tell their children how to live… they lead good lives and make right choices… and in doing so they raise their children…. Literally raise them up.
I am fortunate to have a father who did this for me…(and still does in every way) and a husband who raises our children both literally (as in this picture) as well as symbolically with the way he lives his life.….
Here is to all the wonderful fathers in this world who live in a way that raises the rest of us up…May your day be all that you wish it to be.
