“More than anything else, I believe it’s our decisions, not the conditions of our lives, that determine our destiny.” Anthony Robbins
The longer I live, the more I believe these words to be true. I think this universe is very responsive, and when we ask for something with sincerity, I believe that the ‘powers that be’ get busy setting the stage for the best, most expedient, and highest order outcome possible. But our part in the equation does not end with our asking… that is just the beginning.
If you have hit a wall in your life, and you ask for assistance to move beyond it- the universe will pop a door in that wall as smoothly as the best carpenter around. But if you ignore that door and instead stand there waiting for the wall to magically fall down, chances are your life is going to stay precisely where it is. You need to watch for that door- and it may not look the way that you were expecting it to, but it will be a door none the less. And when you see it, YOU must push it open and walk through.
That is how life changes….the universe presents us with the same old conditions, but we use the opportunity to make a different decision for ourselves. It’s up to us to make that new decision. It also helps to keep in mind, yet another piece of wisdom from Anthony Robbins- he says that if we ‘do what we have always done, we will get what we’ve always got.’

One of these days, Dr. Childs, I must tell you about the door that brought me t Reno and St. Mary’s. The door had been presented, but I chose not to look. Suddenly, a voice spoke into my right ear and said “When I give you a door, never fail to look behind it.” I looked, and the rest is history.
I am sure glad you looked!
The next time we visit personally, Doctor, you must remind me to tell you about my “doorway” experience with Spirit that resulted in my move to Reno, and the opportunity for us to work together.
I look forward to hearing about your door Randy!
