Leave a Dent

‘You’ll turn out ordinary if you’re not careful.’ Ann Brashares

… And isn’t it ironic that the opposite is also true; if you are too careful, you may also turn out ordinary. Allowing ourselves to be ordinary means never putting an imprint on the memory foam of life. When we are too careful, live too lightly on the surface, we never really sink in and leave a mark. If we play our cards close to the vest, we are certain to arrive safely at that gate called ‘ordinary’ at the end of our days.

So be careful… to not be too careful….. and make sure that somehow, in someway, with someone…you leave a dent. (The good kind of dent, of course!)
