‘It does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you do not stop.’ Confucius
Today’s quote embodies ancient wisdom that has such a place in our modern world. We live in a fast world, and we have become accustomed to fast lives. This can make us exceptionally hard on ourselves when something that we are working toward remains elusive.
The gift is often in the journey much more than in the destination- and this is a truism to remember when life fails to produce the ‘fast results‘ that our world demands. If we can focus our attention on ‘not stopping’ instead of ‘moving fast,’ we not only continue forward on our journey, but we get to take a daily sense of accomplishment home with us each night.
