I have no idea what I finally typed into the search bar to find this quote, but as soon as I read the words I got that feeling inside of me that I can only describe as passion. Each day when I sit down to write here at Rx for the Soul, I use the blank slate of the day to inspire me. I usually just start mentally going through the lessons of the last 24 hours and typing random words into the search bar waiting for something to hit pay dirt. The quote finding part of each day’s post is seldom a quick process. There are hundreds of thousand of quotes at the ready all the time in the cyber world, and although I could choose just about anything and no one would be the wiser, I just can’t…. because these silly little Rx’s have become my passion and every single day that I get to share. . . whether the message that arrives to you feels monotonous or memorable…. it always feels like the last bus of the night to me. I always want to make a sprint for it and catch just the right flow of words to deliver to whoever may be standing at the bus stop waiting for a lift.
What is your passion? What in your life are you willing to give chase to? Not just once, but time and time again? Whatever it is, find it and hunt it down until it belongs to you. At some point there will be a last bus of the night, and if you let it go because you think you have time, you’re going to find yourself on a long journey with no ride in sight.
