Follow your heart, but be quiet for a while first.
What a wonderful quote- and something that is so wise to put into practice. Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between what our ‘heart’ is telling us, and what our desires are telling us. If the heart is telling it true- there is no reason to hurry. That which is right and true tends to be enduring, so we never need to rush toward it. Yes….follow your heart, but be quiet for a while first.
This is so amazingly true, with being in the hospital recently and my boss wanting me to have surgery right away so it was convient for others after thinking about it, taking a step back, I realized I wasn’t health enough to have surgery and I had to listen to my heart. I am at peace with my decision .
